Vanyage provides the following free tools for van life enthusiasts:

  • Cost Calculator: Estimates the total cost of van conversion by state, including vehicle, build-out, insurance, and ongoing expenses.
  • 50 State Guides: Information about van life in each U.S. state, including costs, regulations, and popular destinations.
  • AI Route Planner: Generates multi-day van life travel routes based on your preferences, including suggested stops and estimated costs.
  • Saved Routes: Allows you to save up to 5 travel routes locally on your device.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to collect data without permission
  • Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Circumvent rate limits or security measures

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

5. AI-Generated Content

Our AI Route Planner uses artificial intelligence to generate travel route suggestions. Please understand:

  • Routes are suggestions only: AI-generated routes may contain inaccuracies regarding distances, road conditions, campground availability, or state regulations.
  • Verify independently: Always verify route details, campground availability, local regulations, and weather conditions through official sources before traveling.
  • No guarantee of fitness: We do not guarantee that suggested routes are safe, suitable, or legal for your specific vehicle or travel needs.
  • Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated suggestions.

6. Intellectual Property

The Vanyage name, logo, and all original content on the Service (excluding third-party content) are owned by Vanyage and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and store it for the purpose of operating the Service.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., affiliate links to outdoor gear retailers, campground booking sites). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

  • Free trials automatically convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends
  • Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice
  • Paid plans may be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the paid period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
